Secondary Research Part 1

After looking at the series of sculptures created so far, I realised how many of them were similar to shell forms  such as this one.

So, I looked online at various shell patterns, as inspiration for what I could try to recreate in paper. I then discovered oragmi shells that can be made by folding paper, and this gave me and idea of recreating the shell pattern and repeating it within a 3d form. Especially because the groves on certain shells like these ones can be quite easily reproduced in paper by using a pleating method.
